We are one of the few centers in Lebanon that provide care to patients by a physician who specialize in the electrical system of the heart (Cardiac Electro physiologist).Our specialist will rely on a variety of procedures to diagnose heart rhythm disorder. This may include electrocardiograms,various cardiac monitors and sometimes an electrophysiological study (a minimally invasive procedure for diagnosis).

Once your condition is diagnosed, our physician will work with you on a treatment plan, which may include medications, electrical cardio version, implanting a cardiac device like pacemaker/defibrillator, or using minimally invasive procedure to treat your rhythm disorder (Catheter ablation). Special cardiac devices can be used in specific patients to improve heat function (biventricular devices) and prevent sudden cardiac death (defibrillators). Rhythm disorders that can be treated with ablation may include: supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial tachycardia and fibrillation (AT/AF), premature ventricular contractions (PVC) or ventricular tachycardia (VT). In almost all rhythm disorders, if performed, treatment option with ablation is superior to medications.
